This quote came across my desk the other day and it really forms the wake up call we all need to shift towards a deeper vision of what Thriving Health is and why it is important to not only achieve it but also to sustain it forever.
“Just because you’re not sick doesn’t mean you’re healthy.” Author Unknown
To me Thriving Health is …..
“Feeling, looking, and being naturally me with the energy, mobility, strength, and endurance to joyfully do ALL I want, when I want, and with whom I want and to do so embracing my health and not living in fear of it.”
I’ve always felt that life is meant to be embraced, enjoyed and fully lived, not merely endured!
If you’re merely symptom free and not sick but still feel limited in your ability to embrace, enjoy and fully live your life then you are not living in Thriving Health.
If there is a gap between what you view Thriving Health to be and where you are currently at, and you’re not doing much to close the gap, I’m afraid you’ll remain stuck enduring life forever.
If that does not sit well with you then it’s time for a change… don’t you think?
Everyone deserves to live their wildly ideal life in thriving health. Why not you?
It all starts with shifting your belief about what it is to be healthy from the title quote above closer to some version of Thriving Health that resonates with you.
When you reframe what being healthy is to you then you can begin to ask WHY it is important for you to become healthy for now and for down the road. Your deep WHY’s can act to motivate and inspire you to take the action you need to take, now and down the road.
Your deep WHY’s will help you stay on track when the going gets tough or when “life” gets in the way.
Reframe how you view being healthy and take a first step onto your path of Thriving Health. You’re worth it!
Remember…
“Life is meant to be embraced, enjoyed and fully lived, not merely endured!”
To your health,
Brent
